Streamliner One

Privacy Policy

Last updated on 01 May 2026

At Streamliner One, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our consulting and technology services.

If you use our Polycal product, additional product-specific disclosures — including Google Calendar OAuth scopes, CalDAV handling, and the Google API Services Limited Use commitment — are in Section 8. Polycal runs on the user’s own machine, and Streamliner One does not access or store calendar data.

By using Streamliner One, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please refrain from using Streamliner One.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Personal Information: When you contact or engage Streamliner One for services, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you voluntarily provide during communication or collaboration.

1.2. Usage Data: We may collect data about how you use Streamliner One, including your interactions with the platform and the features you access.

1.3. Cookies and Similar Technologies: Streamliner One may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and gather information about your usage patterns.

1.4. Professional Correspondence: Any information shared with us through emails, meetings, or service-related exchanges will be treated as confidential and handled with care and discretion.

1.5. Polycal Calendar Connections: When you authorize Polycal to access a Google Calendar account, OAuth tokens are stored locally on your Polycal installation, on hardware you control. When you connect a CalDAV account (such as iCloud or Fastmail), the app-specific password you enter is also stored locally on your installation. Streamliner One does not collect, retrieve, view, or store these tokens, credentials, or any calendar data they grant access to. See Section 8 for full details.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1. We use the information collected to provide, maintain, and improve Streamliner One’s consulting and technology services and client experience.

2.2. Your personal information may be used to communicate with you regarding important updates, announcements, or other relevant information.

2.3. We may use aggregated and anonymized data for analytical and statistical purposes.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

3.1. Streamliner One will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.

3.2. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating and maintaining Streamliner One, but they will be bound by confidentiality obligations.

3.3. We may disclose your information if required by law or when we believe such action is necessary to protect our rights or comply with legal proceedings.

3.4. Google API Services — Limited Use. Polycal’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone other than as needed to provide the user-facing features the user explicitly requested.

4. Data Security

4.1. Streamliner One implements industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

4.2. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

7.1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.

8. Polycal Calendar Data

Polycal is a calendar aggregation service that runs on the user’s own machine — typically a managed virtual private server (VPS) or other hardware that the user controls. Streamliner One operates Polycal as a managed service, but the software itself, the user’s OAuth tokens, the user’s CalDAV credentials, and all synced calendar data live on the user’s installation, not on Streamliner One servers.

8.1. Google Calendar. When a user explicitly connects a Google Calendar account, Polycal requests two read-only OAuth scopes:

These permit Polycal to list the calendars the user can access and to read event metadata from the calendars the user explicitly chooses to sync. Polycal does not request or use any other Google scopes.

8.2. CalDAV providers. When a user connects a CalDAV account (such as iCloud, Fastmail, or another CalDAV provider), the user enters their own app-specific password directly into their Polycal installation. Polycal uses those credentials to read selected calendars and event metadata in read-only mode.

8.3. Where the data lives. Calendar data, OAuth tokens, and CalDAV credentials are stored exclusively on the user’s Polycal installation. Streamliner One does not retrieve, view, or store users’ calendar contents, OAuth tokens, or CalDAV credentials. We do not maintain a centralized copy of any user’s calendar data.

8.4. What Polycal does not do. Polycal does not create, edit, delete, share, or transfer calendar events. Calendar data is not used for advertising, sold, or used for unrelated profiling. Write access may be considered later as an explicit, separate permission.

8.5. Limited Use compliance. Polycal’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8.6. User control.

8.7. Streamliner One’s role. Streamliner One operates the OAuth client (the Google Cloud project and OAuth application) used by Polycal. This is the only role Streamliner One plays in the data flow. End-user calendar data is never transmitted to or stored by Streamliner One.

8.8. Questions. For privacy questions specific to Polycal, contact hello@streamliner.one.
